These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of KBJ Collective’s website, forms, programs, services, and digital products. By accessing or using our services, you agree to these Terms.
1) Educational + coaching services (not medical care)
KBJ Collective provides education, coaching, and consultation related to dementia caregiving support, communication, and decision-making. We do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment through our website, forms, text messages, emails, workshops, or coaching services. Use of our services does not create a clinician–patient relationship. Always seek the advice of your physician or qualified health provider with questions about a medical condition.
2) Not for emergencies
Our services are not intended for emergencies. If you are concerned about immediate safety (risk of harm, wandering/elopement risk, violence, acute confusion, or medical emergency), call 911 or your local emergency number.
3) Your responsibilities when using forms, email, and text
Please do not submit PHI or private medical record details via contact forms, email, or text. You agree to provide accurate information and keep your contact info up to date. You agree to use our website and services lawfully and respectfully.
4) Scheduling, cancellations, and no-shows (services)
For paid consults or appointments, the scheduling, rescheduling, cancellation, and no-show terms will be provided at checkout/booking and apply to your appointment. If you have not received them, request them before booking.
5) Payments and digital products
Prices and product descriptions are provided at the point of purchase. Digital products (e.g., guides) are delivered electronically. Refund policy: Due to the digital nature of our products, all sales are final.
6) Intellectual property
All content, materials, templates, recordings, guides, and resources are the intellectual property of KBJ Collective unless otherwise stated. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or resell our materials without written permission.
7) No guarantees
We provide education and coaching support, but results vary depending on many factors. We do not guarantee outcomes.
8) Communications consent (email + SMS)
By providing your email and/or phone number, you agree we may contact you about your inquiry, bookings, purchases, and service-related updates. If you opt in to SMS/text messages, you consent to receive texts as described in our Privacy Policy. You can opt out anytime by replying STOP. When you text "STOP" to the phone number. After you send the SMS message "STOP" to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time and we will start sending SMS messages to you again.
9) Carrier Liability:
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
10) Message Frequency & Cost:
As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. You will receive messages at varied frequency. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.
